Oneness in God with Each Other
Oneness
John
14
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare [it]: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
Please read all of John 13 - 17 for the full context of these passages. The question that remains is complex. What does it mean for Jesus to be One with God, what does it mean for us to be One with Him, and what does it mean for us to be One with each other?
Jesus said to Love each other. He also said to keep His commandments. We know that the whole "law" is summed up by loving our neighbors as ourselves, and we know that the greatest commandments are to love God and love each other. So what does it mean to love each God and love each other? The "pat" answer is "the 1st 4 commandments (of 10) are about loving God, and the last 6 are about loving each other." But is that all? Not according to Paul. He gave us a number of "love chapters." I challenge you to find them all and read them through, and see what God says to you personally about that. Also, it might be fun to check out what the Bible says about the fruits of the Spirit, and instead of trying to force yourself to have them, just ask God to give them to you and then Trust that He'll do so, in His own Time and Way.
